Upon finding this website you may have wondered, "Who's the graphic designer behind this website?"
Because I know you've probably got questions, I've specifically created this page to answer most of them in a nutshell.
How much experience do you have as a graphic designer?
I have an Associate's Degree of Science in Graphic Design. Though I have studied design formally, my first experience working with print and web design started in high school and through self-taught lessons. During those years I competed in regional, state, and national print design competitions along with studying college level classes in web design.
As far as marketing experience, I come from a family of entrepreneurs. My mother has been a small business owner for 30+ years. From her I learned many things, and I believe that real life experience is the best type of education.
What makes Graphically Innovative Designs different from other graphic and web design businesses?
I specialize in designing marketing materials for small businesses. I am not the designer who just went to college to receive a degree and suddenly decided “I want to be a graphic designer.” I have always had a natural talent for design, art and technology. I really love designing!
I feel that there are three core things that define and separate me from my competitors.
1) I am a young entrepreneur. I feel that being a young designer is an advantage because most people want someone who is up to date with the latest trends in marketing and on the web. Also, because I am young I can bring fresh and innovative designs to the table.
2) I am an online home-based business. By communicating mainly through phone, email, fax, and other electronic media, this allows me to quickly communicate with you and save us both time and money. You no longer have to set aside precious time for meetings that you could be using to run your small business.
3) I offer the most affordable website design/hosting around. When I design your site, not only is it pleasing to the eye but it is also pleasing to search engines. My main goal when building a site is to make sure that it is not only a beautiful site but also one that will be found by current and potential clients.

Graphically Innovative Designs is solely ran by me. Like many other freelance designers, I wear many hats. I am the owner, graphic designer, web designer, search engine optimizer, and copy writer all rolled into one skilled person.
I am a home-based business in Hampton, Virginia. Even though I am based in Hampton it does not stop me from working with clients in the adjacent cities such as Newport News, Williamsburg, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and clients all over the nation.
Because every project is different, I cannot give a definite figure until I know more about the project at hand. I usually charge by the hour and base estimates on how long a job of equal work will take. For a free quote visit my contact me page.
Why do I have to make a down payment?
Taking a down payment is not unusual for most graphic designers, actually it is a standard for most. Because of the nature of work (being mostly creative and not tangible), it is best that I take a down payment. This ensures that I get paid for at least some of the time I have already worked on the project.
Why do you have to know so much about my small business?
The questions that I ask help me to make marketing materials that will suit you and your business' customers, personality, and style. The more information I know about your business I can create a custom design that best suits you. I cannot see how a designer could possibly create something for a client without knowing the basics about their client.
I do wish to meet each and every one of my clients face-to-face but right now, I have set-up my business to be completely online since I am a home-based business. So I have found it convenient to communicate via Zoom, phone, email, and fax. I accept payments online though PayPal. I have found that by having an online business it cuts costs not only for me but also my clients.
The preferred and main avenue to contact me is by email (I'm an avid email checker) via the contact me form for any inquiries. I can be contacted via phone, fax, or Zoom during the design process. You can find most of these methods through which to contact me on the contact me page.
